In 2006 Mantak changed their official logo, this new logo was made by the infamous diabolical logo creator Christophe Szpajdel (Moonspell, Emperor).This logo was given to Mantak about 2 years ago but only to be decided for officially usage in 2006. This evil logo's appearance is totally synonymous with Mantak’s blasphemous hymns, which is the actual reason of its usage and NOT because of Christophe’s fame!
Since the year 2006, Mantak participated in several tribute-to compilations, such as the Tribute to Cromok (The Other), Tribute to As Sahar (Stroll in Kafan) and Tribute to Mortem (Demons Haunt Loudon). Mantak was supposed to be involved in the Tribute to Sil Khannaz CD but due to line-up problems Mantak had to cancel their part.
The tribute songs for Cromok and As Sahar were handled by Naz with help from session musicians.
Mantak received and accepted an offer (full length CD deal) from well known black metal label, Drakkar Productions (France), Mantak entered the studio in early 2006 to record their third full length, Sabahell's Blasphemer! This time, their music is much more intense, violent, and aggressive! This is undoubtedly the most holocaustic Mantak album, ever!
The year 2007, Mantak’s unholy split unleashed! Alongside Greece’s anti-religious black metal horde Enshadowed! The Nekrosimon – The Art ov Blasphemies EP was released by Japanese label Deathrash Armageddon in 7” vinyl format!
2007 also witnessed South East Asia’s most brutal extreme metal album Sabahell’s Blasphemer under Drakkar Productions! This unholy album received both positive and negative feedbacks from listeners, editors and music reviewers out there! Sabahell’s Blasphemer is considered the fastest extreme metal holocaust arrangements Mantak’s ever made! For this release, Mantak invoked Psycho Son from local black metal hordes Demonyu to fill in the drums position! Psycho Son was also the person who inked the blasphemous artwork for Mantak’s Eastern Sexxxrigalust EP released in 2005!
In the meantime the re-released version of Mantak second full length Polymorphous Perversion was unleashed by Old Cemetery Records, bearing a different front artwork and new inlay designs, also included were bonus tracks taken from the Dark Borneo Art cassette EP.
In 2008, Mantak’s 7” Split EP with Japanese street metal warriors Barbatos was released under German label Necromancer Records. Soon after that the Split CD with Yasuyuki’s (Barbatos) main band Abigail, entitled The Eastern Desekratorz was released through Old Cemetery Records!
In November 2008, Mantak once again stormed the studio to work the recording of their fourth full length album which will be entitled Diabolical Psycholust! This album was supposed to be released under Drakkar Productions but later changed to Old Cemetery Records due to some unforeseen circumstances.
Mantak crushed 2 fucking Indonesian stages for their first ever Indonesian appearance in The Army of Darkness Festival (Surabaya) and Jogja Brebeg (Yogyakarta). In league were numerous great Indonesian militants such as Dry, Death Vomit, Grind Buto, Funeral Inception, Rajam and many more highly potential Indonesian extreme metal acts! Also not forgetting Malaysia’s eastern death metallers from Nilai, Farasu!
Unlike the great responses received in Surabaya, Mantak’s type of musick (black/thrash metal) was not so popular in Yogyakarta, whose crowd was more into US technical brutal death metal, Scandinavian black metal or melodic death metal. This is the reason why Mantak did not get much positive feedbacks at Yogyakarta. However, Mantak is still looking forward to return and blow Yogyakarta or IndoHellsia (in general) stages to pieces with Mantak’s new unholy blasting hymns!
For these 2 particular Indonesian shows, Mantak recruited a sessionist to fill in the bass guitar position, Jadam from Malaysia’s most highly acclaimed veteran death metal horde Necrotic Chaos. He is also the sound engineer for Nebiula Sound Studio, in which he have worked twice with Mantak before!
Almost 1 year without any shows, mainly due to line-up problems, however, Mantak finally desecration a stage in 2008, sharing stages in Bangkok, Thailand with the 2 most infamous black metal elites, Finland’s legendary Archgoat and Siamese black metal kings Surrender of Divinity in the God Beheading Live Ritual 2008!
This would be the third time Mantak annihilated the stages in Thailand!
Mantak also crushed another stage in their hometown Kota Kinabalu, their returning appearance since fucking 4 years ago, in the Sickening Art – Noise Decibel Festival I. The crowd response was fucking great although mostly were newcomers (where on hell have all the old maniacs gone?).
