Months after releasing their 1st demo tape, Mantak once again entered the studio (SDC Studio, W.P. Labuan) to record their 2nd demo tape, Sakhtyanic Doctrine in the mid of 1999! Even though Mantak is using the same studio, this time the studio has been equipped with better instruments!

Sakhtyanic doctrine was not release right after it was recorded. It was released after Mantak moved to Kota Kinabalu, few months after the recording.

Mantak played their first show, the Maximum Decibel Disaster Metal Festival in Kota Kinabalu. The response from the crowd was overwhelming! Totally out of their expectation! Mantak was controlling the crowd as they annihilate the stage! This mark a big change for Mantak. As their name started to spread amongst all the extreme metal scene in sabah, Mantak was also very actively playing shows since then. This have given Mantak the spirit and strength to go further in this blood filthed battle field!

Mantak also destroyed several stages in east malaysia, and also on the following years, other Sabahan bands such as Mortuary Ancestor, Barbalans, and the rest of the Sandakan War Demons! (during that time, Sandakan has the biggest black metal scene in Sabah, and probably Malaysia!)
