Finally, Mantak entered the studio to record their 1st demo tape! The Borneo Chaosmakers! SDC Studio was located in W.P. Labuan, using only a 4 track mixer in a bad environment, but they never thought that was a problem that time, as Mantak was grateful already for being able to record their own material!
The Borneo Chaosmakers received many negative reviews from the local underground scene, only 30 copies were pressed and released independently. This demo tape was also released by a small underground label from West Malaysia, Dark Holocaust Records. Mantak also participated in several undergound extreme metal compilations, local and overseas. Mantak's name has started to spread in the extreme metal scene ever since!
